Samaritans anticipate flood of e-mails

Howard Lake | 5 January 2001 | News

The Samaritans were one of the first UK charities to integrate the Internet not with their fundraising but with their service provision, offering e-mail counselling back in 1994. The New Year, often a depressing time for many people, is expected to yield a flood of e-mails to the charity.
