Personal finance Web site moneyextra.com is allowing visitors to draw up a Will online free of charge. Although there are of course important legal issues involved, including the need to seek professional advice, it is interesting that no UK charity appears yet to have offered such a service. Even if it were a simple interactive questionnaire encouraging supporters to list and value their assets, such an online calculator could form a useful tool in persuading supporters to write a Will and leave a charitable bequest.
