JK Rowling, author of the Harry Potter series, is now Britain’s highest-paid woman, according to a new list. The Times reports that she earned £20.5 million last year. Sixty four women earned more than £1 million in the past year, including computer company founder Nikki Beckett (£14.03m), property magnate Winifred Linnett (£9.76m), advertiser Diane Beford (£5.49m), and Carol Vorderman (£2.8m)
