Pickabook is a Web-based bookshop formed specifically to provide an extra source of income for UK charitable causes. The Cheltenham-based company offers over 4 million books and other items in a range of over 200,000 titles.

In addition to books they sell audio books, music CDs, CD-Roms, calendars and even soft toys. Most items are offered at 20% off the recommended retail price, and some are offered at higher discounts.

The site was launched in mid-1999. Charities already listed on the site include The Guide Association, The Scout Association, The National Meningitis Trust, and the Pittville School Minibus Appeal. The bookshop also offers the Pickabook Charities Fund, a fund from which the company will distribute money raised to the charity or charities of our choice.
