SurfAid in top 40 UK sites searched for at UKIndex.co.uk

Christian Aid’s fundraising affinity Internet Service Provider SurfAid was in the top 40 Web sites searched for in August 1999 at UK Index.
The top 40 Web sites are listed in the November 1999 issue of Internet.Works magazine. In top place was 101cd.com, followed by Amazon UK.
SurfAid charges just £7.50 + VAT per month for Internet access, of which £1 is donated to Christian Aid. This would appear to indicate that there is a large audience of people searching for charity ISPs.
