Forward Emphasis, “Ireland’s first ethically based and trade unionised Direct Marketing Agency” is celebrating its first year in business on 16 August. The agency, founded by Patrick Loughrey, formerly fundraiser with Amnesty International in Belfast, prides itself on its ethical approach to business.
Forward Emphasis says it is the first direct marketing company that is ethically founded, the first unionised call centre and direct mail facility, the first to adopt the domestic violence code for employees, and also the first paperless direct debit bureau.
