New Web message board for fundraisers

Howard Lake | 9 June 1998 | News

The Fundraising Bank Bulletin Board is a new Web-based discussion forum from The Fundraising Bank which was launched on 8th June. Its providers want to “encourage discussion, comments, ideas, and questions regarding fundraising.” They aim to make this bulletin board “a “hot spot” for fundraising.”

Bradley Blinn of the Fundraising Bank told UK Fundraising “We feel that this bulletin board is of great value to those that need fundraising advice.”

It is not clear from the board administrator’s introductory message if the publishers will be adding expertise or resources themselves in response to queries and comments. Nor is there any automatic reminder system to alert readers that a new message has been posted. Commercial postings are not accepted, although consultants and other for-profit agencies are permitted to answer queries.
