National occupational standards for fundraisers

National occupational standards are currently being developed for the fundraising sector.
The project is funded by DfEE and led by a National Steering Group representing large and small organisations, national charities, the arts, the NCVO and the Institute of Charity Fundraising Managers. The standards are designed to meet the needs of all fundraisers, both employed and volunteer.
Fundraisers are encouraged to take part in a questionnaire and to attend the national seminars being run in February.
