Congratulations to Betty Reed, 81, from Brighton for 40 years of local fundraising. She received the Royal British Legion's gold award for service in recognition of her 40 years of voluntary support for the appeal.
Her husband, Peter Reed, a disabled ex-serviceman, died 38 years ago. Since then, she has been supported by the charity.
