Howard Lake | 16 October 2012 | News

Can a bee sting a bee? Why can’t I tickle myself? Why is the sea salty? These are some of the tricky questions asked by children that are answered by experts in a new book that will raise funds for children’s charity NSPCC.

Faber and Faber have published “Big Questions From Little People” which features over 100 questions from children answered by experts including Sir David Attenborough, Dame Kelly Holmes, Dr Richard Dawkins, Derren Brown and Bear Grylls.

For each book sold a minimum of 67% of net royalty income is donated to the NSPCC.

NSPCC Chief Executive, Andrew Flanagan, said: “This is a really exciting book which brings together a huge range of talent to answer some of life’s biggest questions in a way that is accessible to everyone”.
