Recycling Factory to raise funds for Mencap

The Recycling Factory is to generate funds for learning disability charity Mencap by recycling inkjet and toner cartridges and mobile phones.
Mencap will receive a donation for each of these items sent in by supporters provided they can be successfully recycled. There is no cost to Mencap to operate the scheme. The Recycling Factory supplies relevant materials such as freepost envelopes and collection boxes completely free of charge.
The company collect and recycle more than 700,000 inkjet cartridges, toner cartridges and mobile phones each month at their site in Boston, Lincolnshire. So far it has raised more than £2 million for its charity partners which include RNLI, NSPCC, Sense, Seafarers UK, and Papworth Hospital Charity.
