Poppy stairlift to raise funds for Royal British Legion

Howard Lake | 17 June 2011 | News

Heritage Stairlifts has developed Poppy Stairlifts, a new brand of stairlift that will raise funds for The Royal British Legion.
Heritage hopes to raise £250,000 for The Royal British Legion’s new Battle Back Centre which will help in the recovery of wounded, injured and sick Armed Forces personnel through adaptive sports and adventure training. In addition, members of The Royal British Legion will receive a 10% discount when purchasing a Poppy stairlift.
Heritage, part of the Stannah Group, will specify lifts from a range of manufacturers to ensure users are offered the most appropriate lift for their circumstances.
Spencer Kendall, Sales and Marketing Manager, Heritage Stairlifts, commented: “It is fantastic to play a part in this important 90th anniversary year for the Royal British Legion, by bringing to the marketplace a stairlift solution which helps a wonderful cause. Not only will people benefit from the independence and security that a stairlift brings but they can also be assured that their purchase has helped deserving Service personnel, veterans and their families.”
