Happy 10th birthday to The Chronicle of Philanthropy, the US publication on the non-profit world. To celebrate its anniversary it has produced an even better Web site. “The non-profit world’s No. 1 news source” has added lots of additional content and exciting features to its World-Wide Web site. The site now includes:

• The full text of the latest issue, fully searchable.
• An archive of all articles from the past year, also fully searchable. (The archive will be expanded soon.)
• The Chronicle’s popular Guide to Grants, previously available only on CD-ROM. This is a fully searchable data base of the last two years of grant listings from the pages of The Chronicle. Guide to Grants can be searched by key word, grant maker, recipient, and more.

In addition, the site will continue to provide:

• An extensive set of links to Internet resources of interest to people in the non-profit world.
• Lists of forthcoming national conferences on philanthropy.
• Lists of workshops on grants, fund raising, non-profit management, and technology organized by topic and region.
• Deadlines for grants and awards.
• Announcements of job openings in the non-profit world.

Beginning in January, on-line access to Chronicle articles will be restricted to Chronicle subscribers. And the Guide to Grants will be available only for a fee. But for the rest of 1998, visitors can sample this resource free.
