RSA announces seed fund to help grow Fellows' social ideas

The Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce (RSA) has announced RSA Catalyst, a seed funding initiative to encourage its members, or Fellows, “to turn their great ideas into great social outcomes”.
Catalyst funds are available for new or early-stage projects that address social and behavioural change and have a tangible social impact. Funding is available to all Fellows, wherever they are in the world.
Applications will be assessed by a panel with oversight from Fellowship Council, which will meet on the fourth Friday of every month to agree funding awards. Funding will normally be awarded in the following week. For April the closing deadline for applications will be 30 April and the panel will meet on 7 May.
The RSA has a long history of tackling social issues by issuing incentives such as prizes of medals and money for tis Fellows to come up with the best ideas and solutions.
While the money is important, the RSA encourages those considering applying to think about other resources available from the RSA and its network, not least by discussing the idea online with other Fellows or attending a networking meeting.
