Recruitment opens today (2 November) for Spring Impact’s Scale Accelerator: Leaders of Scale programme.

Scale Accelerator is Spring Impact’s flagship programme for UK-based charities and social enterprises, supported by The National Lottery Community Fund.

A six-month intensive training programme, it supports social leaders in building the necessary skills, knowledge, and mindsets to grow the reach and impact of their organisations.

Funding from National Lottery Community Fund means some subsidised places are available for the programme – with this the last opportunity to access them. Since 2015, over 47 UK charities and social leaders addressing key societal issues have participated in the programme, which has helped many increase their reach and impact, expand their solution to several locations, and gain funding for their next phase of growth.

Participants will be guided by Spring Impact’s team of consultants through four key modules. By the end of the programme, leaders will leave with a clear, actionable plan for scaling sustainably, frameworks and tools to build the capacity of their wider team, and the knowledge and confidence to drive their organisation’s journey to scale.

The programme will take place between March and August 2022 and will prioritise applications from UK-based charities and social enterprises from the following types of organisations:

Participants will receive practical training and guidance to assess the financial implications of their scale model, define clear objectives and develop a cohesive scale strategy that ensures impact and long-term sustainability.

Mohamed Osman, UK Director at Spring Impact said:

“Charities and social enterprises across the UK provide indispensable support to many diverse communities across the country. The opportunity to develop their abilities, plans, and capacity necessary to scale up is essential to ensuring social leaders can bring their organisations’ vital work to more people, and ultimately change even more lives.

“We’re thrilled to open applications for another cohort of ambitious leaders who are keen to harness the power of their solutions and look forward to helping them turn their ambitions into reality.”

The deadline for applications is 17 January 2022.
