Acevo Funding Roadshow set for London, Birmingham and Huddersfield

This year’s acevo Funding Roadshow, a one-day conference featuring some of the principal statutory, lottery and trust funders, will be held in three cities during June.

The conference, presented by Action Planning with acevo and Third Sector magazine in three locations, will be held at Central Hall Westminster on 14 June, Birmingham Hippodrome on 21 June and Huddersfield Stadium on 26 June.

Each event features six sessions covering:

* Lottery distributors and the Olympics

* transforming your board and finding the right trustees

* regional funders’ panels

Speakers include Campbell Robb, Director General of the Office of the Third Sector; Sue White, Head of Social Enterprise, Dept of Health; Linda Kelly, Chief Executive, Lloyds TSB Foundation; Big Lottery Fund, Heritage Lottery Fund and the Arts Council; Andrew Hind, Chief Executive of the Charity Commission; and big gift fundraising expert Verity Haines.

The fee of £125 includes VAT, lunch, a networking reception with wine (from 4 pm to 5.30 pm) and all presentation materials.

David Senior of Action Planning told UK Fundraising: “we expect these events to be oversubscribed, so there is a limit of two representatives per organisation”.
