Charity press releases ask for a web link

Well done to Colin Brook, Senior Communications Officer at Vitalise, the national disability charity. His press releases include a sentence I’ve not seen on other charity press releases: “The Vitalise website is www.vitalise.org.uk. Journalists are requested to include the website in all reporting”.
Of course, UK Fundraising would also include a web link on its news items, offering further information. But many print journalists might not consider featuring the web address in their articles.
It is surprising how effective a request to “make this your homepage” can be. One would hope visitors would bookmark a good website, but sometimes you need to ask them directly to do so.
So, a request such as Vitalise’s is certainly worth including in all news releases.
Have any other charities taken this approach?
