SOFII Foundation hosts fundraising quiz

The SOFII Foundation is hosting its first fundraising quiz today at lunchtime. In fact the quiz was inspired by an article on UK Fundraising about the new online fundraising quiz platform Warp Point. They enable people to host interactive, fundraising quiz streams to raise money for good causes.
So the SOFII team have decided to use it to create a quiz about fundraising to help it fundraise to maintain its valuable collection of fundraising resources.
It starts at 1pm today, Friday 4 June 2021. Tickets are just a £5 donation.
Prizes that are on offer include hampers, letterbox gifts, free I Wish I’d Thought of That tickets, essential fundraising books and a year’s free membership with Fundraising Everywhere.
Expect a fun fast-paced quiz full of fundraising trivia and general knowledge.
With twenty multiple choice questions, players will get bonus points if they select the correct answer quickly. A leader board will show after each question, so players can track how they fare against their colleagues as the quiz continues.

SOFII’S Big Fundraising Quiz will be hosted by Joe Burnett, possibly wearing a sparkly shirt, and players can watch Joe live on SOFII’s YouTube livestream while they take part in the quiz.
The prizes
The prizes include:
- A signed copy of Ken Burnett’s upcoming book, The essence of Campaigning
Fundraising. - A ‘work from home’ survival kit/hamper, full of goodies to keep a fundraiser going after a tough year of fundraising in a pandemic.
- A confectionery letterbox gift chock full of sweet treats to replenish that fundraising energy.
- A lifetime pass to all SOFII’s future virtual I Wish I’d Thought of That (IWITOT) events.
- One ticket to any in-person IWITOT event (when they can happen – ticket only: no other associated expenses paid).
- The full back catalogue of IWITOT virtual recordings from 2020/21.
- A complete set of the Tiny Essentials fundraising books.
- A copy of George Smith’s book Asking Properly, the art of creative fundraising
- PLUS, after the quiz has finished SOFII will randomly select one lucky player to receive a full year of Fundraising Everywhere membership, thanks to Nikki Bell and Simon Scriver. This prize is worth £225.
