Google Turns to the Dark Side
Google has “turned the lights out” on its homepage today (29th March) as a gesture to raise awareness of a worldwide energy conservation effort called Earth Hour.
The super-search engine also states that it welcomes future ideas on how it can become more socially and environmentally responsible requesting proposals be sent to:

Whilst not a fundraising programme, having Google promote a cause/initiative in such a monumental way would be bound to boost a causes donor-base so I’m sure they’ll be inundated with requests for support.
