IoF Fundraising Convention launches for 2017
The Institute of Fundraising has launched this year’s Fundraising Convention, to take place from 3rd-5th July, at London’s Barbican Centre.
Over 2,500 people are expected to attend this year’s Convention, with more than 120 speakers and 38 hours of networking available. Speakers include Rogare’s Ian MacQuillin, International Fundraising Consultancy’s John Baguley, Macmillan’s head of individual giving Kelly Maklowicz, Marie Curie director of fundraising Meredith Niles, and NSPCC’s head of major giving Alison Pemberton.
This year, the event is headline sponsored by JustGiving.
As with previous years, the IoF is looking for volunteers to help during the Convention in return for free entry, meals, and accommodation where necessary, and the opportunity to attend selected sessions, as well as to gain experience in team work and event management. Convention volunteers must be able to commit for three and a half days on a 24-hour basis from Sunday 2nd July to Wednesday 5th July 2017.
The IoF National Fundraising Awards take place on the first night of the Convention, 3rd July, at Barbican’s The Brewery.
