Chapel & York publish directory of Asia Pacific Grantmakers

Chapel & York have published the ‘Directory of Asia Pacific Grantmakers’, which features profiles of over 900 independent grantmakers in the 19 Asia Pacific countries. It is available as a book (£15), CD (£7.50) and a PDF download (£4.50).

The directory features full contact details on each foundation, together with funding interests, geographical focus, and financial information. Its index helps you locate grantmakers who fund particular areas of work or in particular countries and regions.

According to Chapel & York, who say this is the ‘first ever comprehensive publication of Asia Pacific grantmakers”, individual and corporate wealth is soaring in the Asia Pacific region, and “philanthropy is booming”. Their research has found that the largest charitable and grantmaking foundations in the region “now rank alongside some of the biggest in North America and Europe.”
