Whitehouse Consultancy offers pro bono lobbying
The Whitehouse Consultancy is again inviting charities and voluntary sector organisations in need of political advice and lobbying support to submit an application to benefit from public affairs programme free of charge for one year.
The successful applicant will be provided with full support to achieve their public policy aims for one year, whether they require a higher profile in Westminster and Whitehall, want to see a specific change in policy, are seeking greater government backing for their cause or need to locate sources of statutory funding.
Chris Whitehouse, Managing Director, said: “This is a unique opportunity for a charity or voluntary sector organisation to get their foot in the door in Westminster and Whitehall and learn how to take their campaigning to a next level.”

The pro bono scheme is part of the company’s wider corporate social responsibility programme, which has also seen members of staff helping a local school, Lilian Baylis Technology School, with its citizenship and foundation studies classes.
Paul Smith, Executive Director of the one of Whitehouse’s former pro bono charities the Spinal Injuries Association, said: “The profile of SIA with politicians and civil servants has been raised hugely by Whitehouse under their ./guidance. Not only did they help us get meetings with key decision makers and influencers, they also provided excellent advice and have been hands-on with the campaigning activities – we could not have asked for more.
“In doing so, Whitehouse has left us with a lasting legacy, having enabled us to continue our vital work after the pro bono period has ended.”
Applications must be received by 9 November 2007.
