Fundraising Initiatives streamlines business

Howard Lake | 6 October 2006 | News

Fundraising Initiatives has announced a ‘radical shake-up’ in its UK business which will rationalise group companies and business divisions into a new, centralised group structure.
The strategic restructure is being spearheaded by Kevin Kibble, who became managing director of the group’s core company, Fundraising Initiatives Ltd (FIL), in May 2006. He aims to create “new brand coherence, operational streamlining and service efficiencies” that the company can pass on to its charity client base, while “preparing the ground for major new growth and development“.
The new structure will mean redundancies at the company. Kibble explained: “In any major business reorganisation or merger it is essential to review internal staffing strctures. Sadly and inevitably that means a number of redundancies. However, our structural changes have been carefully planned to maximise our strengths and our clients will share and benefit from our success.
Kibble joined the board of the £22 million company with a specific remit to lead the company, and therefore the group, into its next stage of development.
“FI has experienced phenomenal growth in the last few years, said Kibble, way beyond what was expected. Now I am pulling the group together through management optimisation and operational efficiencies.
FIL has been at the forefront of developing professional door-to-door fundraising and delivers around 7,000 new donors for its charity clients every week through D2D alone. At the Institute of Fundraising Convention in July the company launched charity key recovery service Key2Giving and its online support system.
