Northern Bank offers £100,000 in grants

Howard Lake | 23 August 2006 | News

Northern Bank, one of Northern Ireland’s leading banks, is making community grants worth £100,000. The grants will be given to organisations who operate in the areas of knowledge, culture and recreational sports.

The grants will be made annually and will be allocated based on the Northern’s bank regions — Belfast, East, North and South and West. Each region will be given £25,000 in 2006 with awards between £500 and £5,000. The closing date for applications is 29th September, with funds distributed in November 2006.

A steering group in each Northern Bank region will assess applications and applications need to be submitted through branches and signed by the bank manager. Application forms are available from bank branches.
