Emmaus to sell second-hand furniture at huge Parisian flea market

International homelessness charity Emmaus is expecting thousands of bargain hunters on 12 June at the Paris Expo, Port de Versailles where they will be hosting the biggest second-hand furniture market in Europe.

A convoy of vans and trucks from Emmaus Communities in the UK will be setting off for France on Friday, courtesy of Euro Tunnel.

Emmaus Communities provide a home and work for previously homeless people. Residents work full time at the business of the Community, refurbishing and selling household goods.

 

 

Last year’s sale raised approximately £270,000 for Emmaus International.
