Celebrity Assistants

Howard Lake | 25 August 2015 | Blogs

I understand that Jermain Defoe has advertised for a 24/7 assistant to grow his global brand … stock his fridge, help to run his charitable foundation, etc. Well, whatever the wisdom of advertising such a mixed bag, the item on BBC Radio Four this morning alerted me to the Association of Celebrity Assistants, which would appear to be “a non-profit organisation created and used by Personal Assistants working for high profile individuals from the worlds of film, TV, theatre, music, luxury goods, fashion, beauty, charity, business, politics, art and sport”. The website also mentions other organisations that may be of interest to people working in this kind of area – Association of Personal Assistants (closed in 2014?!), the Executive Personal Assistants Society, etc. I subsequently spotted the Global PA Association.
Might be worth a rummage
