New round of Tesco Charity Trust Community Awards opens

Applications are once again open for the Tesco Charity Trust Community Awards. The Trust offers grants of between £500 and £2,500 for projects that directly benefit health, environmental sustainability or opportunities for young people.
The benefit must be directed to communities near Tesco stores in the UK. Applications are welcome from national and local organisations that have an annual turnover of under £5 million.
There is an emphasis on supporting projects with practical benefits: the Trust’s website stipulates that “your project should be able to demonstrate that it can lead to tangible benefits”.
Applications to the Tesco Charity Trust Community Awards close on 24 April 2015.
