Fundraising Ireland is seeking nominations for its 2015 National Awards for Excellence in Fundraising. There are categories for individuals, fundraising teams and corporate partners.
The 12 award categories have been refreshed this year to include digital, volunteer, innovative fundraising, events, legacy and other specialisms. The awards are designed to “recognise exceptional achievement in the fundraising community and the winners are chosen on the basis of fundraising excellence”.
As in past years, the winners of the categories for Most Innovative Fundraising Campaign, Big Idea Small Budget, Best Use of Events and Professional Fundraiser of the Year will be put forward for nomination to the Global Fundraising Awards 2015.
The judging panel will be chaired by Richard Dixon, Director of Public Affairs, Concern Worldwide, and consists of Anne Hanniffy, CEO, Fundraising Ireland; UK Fundraising’s Howard Lake; Jordan Campbell, Programmes Manager, The Ireland Funds; Anne Marie Curran, Managing Director, Drury Communications;
and Darren Ryan; CEO, Social Entrepreneurs Ireland.
There is no charge to enter the National Awards for Excellence in Fundraising, and the closing date for entries is 23 January 2015. The winners will be announced at a gala dinner in Dublin on 26 March 2015.
