Two competitions for small charities

Small Charity Week next week features a number of events and opportunities for small charities. This includes two competitions with unusual prizes that could help several small charities improve their fundraising.

1. Win one of five passes to IoF’s National Convention

Five small charities can win a one-day pass to the Institute of Fundraising’s National Convention next month. Each pass has a value of £350.

To enter the competition simply explain in no more than 150 why the opportunity to attend would make a difference to you and your small charity and email it to Small Charity Week by Friday 20 June 2014.

2. Win a year’s membership to Remember A Charity

One small charity will win a year’s membership of Remember A Charity, the national campaign to promote charitable legacies. This is worth £586.

The winning charity will benefit from partnerships with the Will-writing sector, participation in Remember A Charity Week (8-14 September), and resources for its legacy strategy.

Entries are accepted from registered charities with an eligible voluntary income of less than £250,000 per annum .

To enter explain in no more than 100 words what difference support with legacies would make to your charity. Include your charity name and number and email it to Remember A Charity by 17 June 2014 with ‘Small Charities Fundraising Day Competition’ in the subject.
