Institute changes partners for preferred magazine and job site

The Institute of Fundraising has informed its members that it is switching its preferred magazine and job site, one of a range of benefits open to members.
All individual members will now receive a free monthly copy of Fundraising magazine as well as unlimited access to the Civil Society website. This should represent a saving to members of at least £132 a year, according to the Institute.

In addition the Institute has partnered with CharityJOB, the recruitment website. Institute members will enjoy a reduced rate on the site when they post jobs there.
The Institute previously partnered with the CharityJOB site in 2004 before switching to Third Sector Jobs in 2008.

Member feedback

The partnerships are based on feedback from members on what kind of benefits they would like to receive. One clear message was for a printed magazine.

Third Sector

The new partnerships supersede those between the Institute and Third Sector. Institute members received full access to the magazine’s website, and could receive its printed magazine for £19.50 a year.
Members who signed up to the Third Sector website as part of their membership benefit will still have full access until the end of January 2014. Those who used the offer to subscribe to the magazine at a reduced rate will continue to receive the magazine until the end of their current annual subscription.
