Building Society's Hospice Supporter Accounts benefit hospices again

Savers at Darlington Building Society have given another cash boost to four local hospices as the Society’s Hospice Supporter Savings Account has paid out its second annual bonus.
Under the terms of the account 1% of the average total balances held in all Hospice Supporter Accounts throughout the year are paid to the region’s four major hospices in the form of a donation.
Representatives of the beneficiary hospices – St Teresa’s Hospice in Darlington, Butterwick Hospice Care in Stockton, Teesside Hospice Care Foundation in Middlesbrough and Hartlepool & District Hospice — recently met up at The Woodlands, home of St Teresa’s Hospice, to collect their cheques of £956.14 each.
