Major grantmaker seeks two new trustees

The Lloyds TSB Foundation for England and Wales is seeking to recruit two new Trustees.

One of the largest independent grant-making bodies in the UK, with an income of £22.5 million in 2005, the Foundation gives grants to grass-roots registered charities that enable disadvantaged and disabled people to play a fuller role in the community.

The Foundation recruits Trustees that have significant experience in the public, private and voluntary sector, an understanding of the voluntary sector at a local and national level and a strategic approach to current social and economic priorities. In addition to their primary responsibility to the Board, each Trustee will have special responsibility for grant-making in either the Greater London or West Midlands regions.
