Spinal Research appoints Volunteer Network Fundraiser

Zoë Colvile has joined neuroscience charity Spinal Research in the newly-focused role of Volunteer Network Fundraiser. Her task will be to strengthen the role of supporters and increase fundraising income.

Zoë will be responsible for the development of a volunteer network of fundraisers throughout the UK.

“In recent months we have been re-focusing and aligning the fundraising team to face the challenges ahead,” explains the charity’s Head of Fundraising, Carol Borwick. “One of our biggest strengths is the volunteer fundraisers that we have.”

Zoë joins Spinal Research following various positions from working as a journalist on the Wokingham Times to Editor at the RNIB. Most recently Zoë enjoyed success at CSV where she was heavily involved in the Make a Difference Day campaign. Zoë will be raising money for Spinal Research herself this weekend when she takes part in the Reading Half Marathon on Sunday (7 March 2004).
