Bank of Scotland Foundation offers
The Bank of Scotland Foundation is continuing its Volunteering Grants Programme by allocating a further £100,000 in support of community volunteering projects in Scotland in 2013.
The programme, introduced last year when it was supported with a similar sum, is designed to boost community volunteering across Scotland. Over 140 Lloyds Banking Group’s employees are now volunteering with the charities that benefitted from funding from the Foundation. These include Breast Cancer Care, Children 1st and Edinburgh Cyrenian Trust.
The Volunteering Grants Programme adds to the Bank of Scotland Foundation’s existing grants programme which has distributed over £2 million to over 200 charities since its launch in November 2010. It is operated as part of Lloyds Banking Group Volunteering Programme.

Successful recipients will also benefit from employee volunteers: Lloyds Banking Group will encourage its staff to support the projects that are funded.
