Coventry Building Society’s new savings bond to raise funds for Cancer Research UK
Coventry Building Society has produced a new savings bond that will generate income for Cancer Research UK.
The Race for Life Bond is a 22 month savings bond that pays 2.10% AER/gross p.a., fixed until 30 April 2015. The Society will donate 0.10% of the total balances held in the bond to fund Cancer Research UK.
Coventry Building Society has created other charitable accounts. Its Poppy Bond for example, although it is no longer available, has generated over £8 million for The Royal British Legion in the last five years. It also runs a number of affiliate accounts that generate income for football and rugby clubs. The Willow Trust and Cotswold Care Hospice also benefit from savings products.
