BUPA partners with Life Education
Private health insurance company BUPA is to donate £500,000 over three years to Life Education to promote health education locally throughout the UK.
In addition to the donation, BUPA will be encouraging its staff to volunteer for Life Education, and it will make some of its facilities available to the charity.
The support follows 18 months of collaboration between the company and charity on delivering health education to primary school children in Greater Manchester.

The growing support has other elements. BUPA’s Group Finance Director, Ray King, joined the trustee board of Life Education in October 2004.
Stephen Burgess, chief executive of Life Education, told Third Sector magazine: “Our partnership with BUPA… is the first step in engaging large-scale corporate volunteering to add value to our initiative. It will enable a step-change in the scale and scope of our services to children, parents and the community.”
