Worshipful Company of Information Technologists elects new Master

Roger Graham OBE has been elected the new Master of the Worshipful Company of Information Technologists (WCIT), one of the newest City of London Livery Companies.

Roger Graham has been involved with the IT, communications and marketing
services industries for over 40 years, recently as a director of Close
Brothers Corporate Finance Ltd and Scottish Life Assurance, Edinburgh.

As well as promoting the IT profession the WCIT supports educational and charitable programmes, using the experience, talents and resources of Company members to give something back to disadvantaged groups in society.

Mr Graham said: “This coming year we will continue to have fun raising money and providing the expertise of our freemen and
liverymen to help the disadvantaged do better with IT. I will be devoting my
efforts into driving the success of a number of projects. These will include both the IT4Communities initiative and the ICT Sector Fund, which will give recognition to companies and individuals that go out of their way to help those less fortunate than themselves.

The Company currently has over 650 members , all of whom are senior practitioners in the IT profession.
