Construction News publishes 'Fortune Builders' list

Construction News has published a list of the wealthiest builders.
The ‘Fortune Builders’ list is published this week at £2. Unfortunately it isn’t available yet on the Web site.
However, the Web site does include an annual list of the top 100 construction companies by turnover. There is no detail about charitable giving, but the list could help inform fundraisers’ approaches to these companies.

The list gives details of the companies latest annual turnover, pre-tax profit, net worth, staff numbers, average wage, and highest paid director. Sadly it doesn’t name the latter.
Top of the list this year is Amec, followed by Bovis Lend Lease and Balfour Beatty. All three held the same positions last year.
