Two papers on venture philanthropy published

PhilanthropyUK has added two papers to its venture philanthropy section.

One of the papers has taken quite a while to appear on the site, but given the author’s pedigree it is worth the wait. In April 2002 David Carrington presented a paper surveying the Venture Philanthropy scene at that time.

The second paper on the subject is the product of a workshop in January 2004 which reviewed developments in the UK and discussed
issues in implementation. The workshop included a presentation from Tom Donlea, Director of Social Venture Partners International, which explored what the UK might learn from their practical experiences in the US.
