Orange launches Community Futures awards of up to £5,000

Howard Lake | 16 June 2003 | News

Communications company Orange UK is launching its Community Futures awards programme to recognise the work of individuals or groups working at grass roots level in local communities.

Awards will take the form of grants of £2,500 to £5,000 and will be made to people who are using communication “in its widest sense” to enable people with sensory disabilities to participate more fully in society.

The awards are part of Orange’s new global corporate social responsibility strategy, which formalises Orange’s social and environmental commitments.
