New Chief Executive for Association of Charitable Foundations

David Emerson, currently Senior Executive at the Theatrical Management Association, will become the new Chief Executive for the Association of Charitable Foundations (ACF).

He hopes to take up the post no later than 1 January 2003.

Emerson was originally a community worker and Adult Education Tutor in the North West, and spent four years at the Rural Department of NCVO. Since 1996 he has successfully built up the membership and the web contact systems of the Theatrical Management Association, and lobbyied government for more fundingfor regional theatre.
