US dot gones in the non-profit sector

Several Internet start-ups that offered online fundraising opportunities to US non-profits have stopped trading over the past few months. Of the 30or more dot coms that exhibited at the National Society of Fund Raising Executives’ conference in New Orleans in 2000, the NonProfit Times has discovered five are now out of business, “or appear so”, and “many others teetering near the edge.”
