Matched giving away

Howard Lake | 28 February 2001 | News

Londoners’ honesty and charitable spirit will be tested tomorrow when they find that money does grow on trees. Thousands of envelopes containing five pound notes will be attached to trees in the capital. The envelope reads “Money Doesn’t Grow on Trees.” Finders will be encouraged to return the cash in the postage-paid envelope to Comic Relief. For each fiver returned Virgin Cola will donate a further five pounds.
