The Sun apologises to Barnardo's

The Sun newspaper has apologised to children’s charity Barnardo’s and donated £5,000 to them plus legal costs for controversial criticisms by columnist Richard Littlejohn. “Next time you’re tempted to give money to Barnardo’s, stop and think about how it is being spent,” wrote the columnist at Christmas in relation to the charity’s education pack dealing with children abused through prostitution.
