Charities don't tender enough
Charities are reluctant to tender over appointing professional advisers, and could therefore fail to secure the best deals, according to a new report. The HLB Kidsons and NGO Finance Voluntary Sector Governence Survey 2000, published in this month’s NGO Finance magazine, found that 38% of charities surveyed had remained with their bank for over ten years without looking elsewhere for a better deal. A total of 755 charities replied to the survey.
