UK adults still haven't found what they're looking for
Webtop survey reveals people still can’t find what they’re looking for online.
A new survey from Webtop.com reports that 72% of UK adults are frustrated by the quality of information they retrieve via the Internet. Not surprisingly, 60% of users say that accurate information is important when searching online for business. Indeed, one would have thought that the figure would have been higher.
Even now, despite the improvement of search engine facilities such as those offered by Google.com, 31% of users state that they do not often find what they need on the Web.

This should simply act as a reminder for charities to review their online profile. Can someone searching for a charity’s name on a range of search engines find your site quickly? What if they type in the generic word describing the charity’s area of focus, such as children, cancer, or animals? If not, what is your charity going to do about it?
