EdCals.com is a US service that lets marketers and PR professionals stay ahead of editorial calendars from over 120,000 US print and Web publications. The service will inform you of upcoming deadlines and special features. Charity staff can then try to get coverage of their fundraising campaign or other event knowing that the editor or journalist is looking for that kind of information.

It is US-only in its scope, but for charities and universities interested in securing US coverage, you can sign up for a free trial.
