A new e-mail-based system for fundraising has been announced by Epidemic Marketing in the US. Epidemic enables e-mail users to earn cash rewards for the inclusion of graphic links within their day-to-day e-mail messages. It appears to function in much the same way as Web-based click-to-give programmes, although it encourages supporters to group together in a community.
