The City Bridge Trust has provided funding to enable Charity Tax Group to engage, support and represent London charities on fiscal and tax matters.

The Trust has given the funding in recognition of the impact of the pandemic on charities, and of CTG’s role in supporting them.

As a result, a charity’s first contribution towards CTG’s work in 2022 will be free, with the amount of the contribution provided depending on the size of the organisation:

This opportunity is for charities based in London with registration on the CTG site.

To help charities deal with the key tax issues they face, CTG members receive monthly and weekly newsletters. CTG also provides training through its free online expert insight events on charity tax issues of the day.  These have included Gift Aid, business rates, VAT, payroll giving and employment taxes. Members can also get involved with CTG’s Gift Aid and VAT practical issues working groups, and receive ongoing access to the CTG website, which provides guidance on charity tax issues.
