Child.org has launched its “Big Fat Christmas” service for the upcoming holiday season, delivering online parties for companies and teams to support its work with new parents in Kenya.

Run by a professional host, Big Fat Christmas includes a quiz for the office “Noel-it-alls”, creative challenges, and festive team games such as the not-quite Murder Mystery, Who Stole Santa?

To recreate the Christmas party atmosphere at home, the service is also offering additional perks such as wine and cheese tastings, Christmas hampers, or holiday craft workshops, with all materials delivered straight to participants’ doors.

Packages start at £20 per person and the elements are all customisable.

Proceeds from Big Fat Christmas will support Child.org’s appeal Your Newborn: Essential Health SMS for an interactive SMS service arming new parents in Kenya with health advice, connecting them with local health clinics, and improving the quality of care they receive.

Lucy James, Income Manager at Child.org said,

“Last year, our Big Fat Christmas parties brought teams together during lockdown. This year, we plan on delivering even more incredible experiences to unite teams after another tough year. And the best part is that each party helps keep mums and babies in Kenya safe and healthy.”

Other initiatives previously launched by Child.org to help it raise funds have included a corporate treat service, and a co-working space in London.
